Our programs.
Three ways we look after Brisbane’s south-west — all delivered by volunteers, all free for the people who need them.
Lawn Mowing & Yard Care
Our core program. Volunteer crews visit eligible households across Inala and surrounding suburbs to mow, edge and tidy yards that have become unmanageable — and take the green waste with them.
- Regular mowing and edging on a schedule that suits you
- Whipper-snipping and general tidy-up
- Green waste removed, no mess left behind
- Always free for eligible households
In-Home Aid & Assistance
Beyond the lawn, our volunteers lend a hand with everyday outdoor tasks — clearing gutters of debris, tidying garden beds, small odd jobs — so people can stay safe and independent in their own homes for longer.
- Friendly, respectful, no-obligation help
- Focused on safety around the home
- Delivered alongside our regular mowing visits
Lawn Care Employment Pathways
We give unemployed people and young people aged 15–25 — including those from refugee and migrant backgrounds — hands-on experience in lawn and garden care. Participants learn real skills, gain a reference, and build connection to their community while directly supporting the seniors and people with disability we serve.
- Practical, supervised, on-the-job training
- Open to ages 15–25 and unemployed adults
- A direct pathway into paid work in the trade
